There’s a charm to the whole setup, and they do the basics so well that the whole thing really works and shows many other restaurants up for their failings. The food arrives promptly and is actually hot, the coffee never dips below half full, and there is a rhythm to the service that feels both warm and wonderfully efficient. Even on a quiet Tuesday morning, the place was buzzing: n
