Mar 6, 2021 · Why did they screw up the soundtrack like that? Specially "Let the battle begin", you know, that music that starts playing everytime you get into a fight? It completely sucks. It lacks the synthetic sounds, they changed to orchestra and it just doesn't hit the same way. While the original was powerful, the remake soundtrack is bland.

Remake however has more interaction, and a more versatile battle system. But in terms of art direction, dialogue and characters they are very similar. Remake reminded me a lot of a better XIII.
