The example below I used a simple GRAVEL hatch in AutoCAD. Tweak the hatch scale and depth of emboss as desired.

Oct 18, 2021 · I would suggest you you use Autodesk Meshmixer for this. Export your model as a highly faceted .stl and apply a texture in Meshmixer. If you google "Meshmixer leather texture" you'll find some instructional videos that should help you. As you are 3D printing this, there is no reason to get this back into Fusion 360 after texturing.

May 26, 2023 · Following the description provided with that texture you need to find a 3D modeling software (polygon and Sub-D based meshes) such a Blender, MoDo, Maya, 23DSMax, Cinema 4D that can work with the substance painter plugin. There are Blender plugins for that sort of brick texture that work directly with Blender and don't need Substance Painter.

I've seen a few workarounds here and there ( like normal or bump maps in this one or shaders in this one) but they don't represent the actual 3D printed parts!
