The Seychelles Ports Authority (SPA) was established in October 2004 under the SPA Act (2004) to manage Port Victoria, a multi-functional port and the main international gateway to the Seychelles economy.

The Seychelles Ports Authority (SPA) was established in October 2004 by the SPA Act (2004). This followed a Government decision to adopt a business-oriented approach towards the running of the ports for better management of all port related activities.
Facilities - seyport.sc
Mahe Quay is the commercial port of Port Victoria with a berthing space of 370 meters. Handling (loading and unloading) of all containerized cargo is the main throughput. Over and above, Mahe Quay also handles dry and breakbulk cargo, fishing, military, tankers (cement, oil and gas), supply, mega and superyachts, cruise ships.

The Seychelles Ports Authority was established in October 2004 following Government’s decision to review the commercial and operational responsibilities of the previous Ports and Marine Services Division, which was then the sole administrator of Port Victoria.
Fishing Port - seyport.sc
Home to the Indian Ocean’s largest tuna canning factory, the Fishing Port provides all the support services to fishing vessels and the tuna fishing industry to ensure that Port Victoria is the most competitive and favorite port of call for handling of tuna and tuna like species.
This is the principal international port terminal providing maritime connectivity of Seychelles to the rest of the world. It facilitates international trade and cruise tourism.

Government’s approach for zone 14 (Ile du Port) is to transform the facility into a hub for the tuna fishing industry. Zone 14. Baie Sainte Anne Jetty - seyport.sc
An efficient and integrated port terminal is being developed at Eve Island with the full separation of cargo and passenger traffic. The present passenger terminal at Baie Ste Anne jetty will be phased out and the facility is to be tendered out for conversion and redeveloped into a waterfront and leisure centre.
