The latest: Super Bowl LIX, slated for Feb. 9, 2025, in New Orleans, will feature locally born stars Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty and Ledisi during pregame performances. Lafayette native Lauren Daigle will also be part of the show, the NFL announced.

The NFL today continued to build out its offering around Super Bowl LIX, announcing that Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle and Ledisi will provide pregame entertainment. The game will take place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday,

Lauren Daigle is a Louisiana native and multiple Grammy, American Music and Billboard Music Award winner known for her powerful voice and chart-topping hits. Her 2018 album Look Up Child debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200, making her the first female artist to reach the Top 10 on both the Pop and Christian Album charts simultaneously.

Multi-talented performer Jon Batiste will hit the pregame stage to sing the national anthem, while Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle are to perform “America the Beautiful.”
