Actor Tristan Rogers, known to millions for his role as super spy Robert Scorpio on “General Hospital,” has died at the age of 79. Rogers, who also appeared as Hunter Jones on the soap “The Bold and the Beautiful”, had revealed in July that he had cancer, USA Today reported.

General Hospital executive producer Frank Valenti said the show's 'family is heartbroken to hear' of his passing.
