Rich Rodriguez is heading back to West Virginia. According to ESPNThe Mountaineers announced Thursday that they had re-hired Rodriguez 17 years after he left for Michigan. The Jacksonville State coach will succeed Neal Brown after Brown was fired at the end of the season.

Much of Rodriguez's football career has been spent with West Virginia. He played for them for four seasons as a defensive back, before spending three different stints with them as a coach. His most notable stint was his most recent one, as he was the team's head coach from 2001-2007.
