ADDYSTON, Ohio (WKRC) - Addyston’s village council said that it can no longer afford to have a police department and that they’re turning over public safety to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The man driving the dirt bike was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office said it has not released his identity pending notification of the family.
The Addyston Village Council voted to disband the police department and contract with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
