A family of six, including three children, died this week in a house fire near the Saint Lawrence River in Upstate New York. The fast-moving blaze occurred at a single-family home just before 10 p.m.

A late-night fire in Massena killed a family of five on Monday. A sixth person, a woman, later died in the hospital, according to WWNY-TV. Massena Fire Chief Tom Miller said crews responded to the fire on Chase Street around 10 pm but the house was already engulfed in flames. He said, “our hearts go out to all those affected by this tragedy.”
