Giddey has long wanted a deal in the range of roughly $30 million annually, to which the Bulls have not taken the bait on. However, as KC Johnson of Chicago Sports Network says, a resolution to this contract dispute could soon be found.

And as things currently stand, an agreement between both player and team are not very close. According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Bulls' most recent offer to Giddey was a four-year, $80 million contract; Giddey, meanwhile, wants to be compensated closer to $30 million each year.

The Chicago Bulls and Josh Giddey have been trying to work out a new deal, but most reports say they are far apart with their respective demands.
