The International Film Festival of India and project market Film Bazaar have concluded what has been possibly their most successful editions yet.

The 55th International Film Festival of India showcased 270 films and highlighted global talent with numerous awards and masterclasses.

Actor Rashmika Mandanna spoke about the 55th International Film Festival of India and said that it is a platform for the "celebration of films". "Film festival; what it means to me is celebration. It's where all of us celebrate our films.

Lithuanian drama Toxic, the debut feature of Saule Bliuvaite, has picked up the Golden Peacock award for best film at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI, November 20-28). At the closing ceremony of the festival in Goa, the film also scooped the best actress award, shared between co-leads Vesta Matulyte and Ieva Rupeikaite.
