Despite the otherwise underwhelming 1-8 start for the Kennesaw State Owls in their first year joining the FBS ranks, they have found themselves thrust into some of the college football spotlight this week.

In a move truly out of left field, Kennesaw State has fired Brian Bohannon. Bohannon was 72-38 over his time with the Owls, and 1-8 this year, their first year in the FCS. I feel like this move was predetermined because no one expected many wins from Kennesaw this year and their upset over Liberty will likely be the biggest FBS upset of the season.
