The Detroit Red Wings fell to the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 in overtime Sunday, with left wing Jake DeBrusk scoring a hat trick, including the game-winner in overtime.

The Wings are on a nice little roll headed into their next contest, a Friday matinee against the New Jersey Devils at Little Caesars Arena. Winners of three of their last four games, the Wings also have points in four of their last five games, improving to 10-10-2 and seemingly coming to an understanding of how they have to play to succeed.

It was a back-and-forth affair Sunday afternoon, but the Vancouver Canucks came up big in overtime, beating the Detroit Red Wings 5-4. It was a second consecutive overtime game for Vancouver, and Head Coach Rick Tocchet liked the way his team met pressure head-on.
