Coraline’s other mother likes to play games and create twisted facsimiles of real-world people and places; in that respect, she and Selick have a lot in common.

Not everyone will get to see Coraline in its 3-D glory, though. Of the 2,000 theaters that have booked the film, only 900 are equipped for 3-D; the rest will project it in 2-D.
