Most people might celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday later this year, on the anniversary of his first hit movie, “Steamboat Willie,” which premiered on Nov. 18, 1928.

The show will debut on Mickey’s birthday, Wednesday, November 18th. After that, two new shorts will debut every Friday starting November 27th.

To mark his birthday, a 16,000 square-foot art exhibit in Manhattan opened called Mickey: The True Original Exhibition. The exhibition runs until February 10. Disney is the parent company of WABC-TV.
