MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - Two corrections officers were injured in an assault Friday morning by an inmate at Marquette Branch Prison (MBP), according to the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC).

Two adults were killed and three teenagers injured in a head-on collision Friday afternoon on M-35 in Forsyth Township. A 37-year-old Gwinn man and a 21-year-old Negaunee man were both pronounced dead after the crash just before 4 p.
