More than a dozen officials who worked on the criminal investigations into Donald Trump have been fired, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The norm-shattering move is consistent with the President’s determination to purge the government of workers his administration perceives as disloyal.

The Justice Department employees had been involved in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation that led to Trump's classified documents and Jan. 6 cases.
