NTPC Green Energy shares were listed on November 27 at Rs 111.50 per share on the NSE, a premium of 3.24 percent over the IPO price of Rs 108 per share.

The IPO was an entirely fresh issue worth Rs 10,000 crore and opened on 19, 2024. Subscription closed on Friday, November 22, 2024. The price band for the Offer was determined at Rs 102 - Rs 108 per equity share.

NTPC Green Energy made its debut on the stock market on Wednesday, November 27, with a somewhat lukewarm reception.

NGEL shares rallied 10 per cent post-listing on Wednesday. NTPC Green Energy shares were listed at ₹111.50 and ₹111.60 on the NSE and BSE, respectively, at a 3.2/3.3 per cent premium over the IPO price of ₹180.

The stock was locked at its upper circuit level of Rs 142.10. At this price, it has gained 31.57 per cent compared to an issue price of Rs 108.

NTPC Green Energy shares will be in focus on December 26 this year as over 18.3 crore shares or 2% of the company's outstanding equity will be eligible for trade as its one-month shareholder lock-in period will end.
