The roadways in the Western Gateway neighborhood were closed after a natural gas line ruptured in the morning, according to a news release from the Des Moines Police Department. Locust Street is shut down from 10th Street to 16th Street. 15th Street is closed from Grand Avenue to Walnut Street.
