Crystal Palace are now looking to sign an "absolutely incredible" attacking midfielder, who could be brought in as a replacement for Eberechi Eze, according to a report.
A pair of trophy-toting Londoners meet Sunday when Chelsea welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge. The hosts won the Club World Cup this summer, giving manager Enzo Maresca and all of Chelsea’s supporters reason to believe their team could be back in competition for a Premier League title.
When asked if Palace can recover if they lose both Eze and Guehu, Henderson added: "100%. We have lost players before and we survived through that. And we brought the best times to this football club.
Eze is on the verge joining Tottenham after a verbal agreement was reached on a deal totalling £60million, centre-half Marc Guehi is moving closer to joining Liverpool for around £38m and Adam Wharton, one of the best midfielders in the business, could also be sold with Manchester United and Real Madrid linked with the 21-year-old in recent days.
Eberechi Eze is now expected to join Arsenal after the Gunners came back in for him in the 11th hour, despite agreeing a move in principle to join north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur within the last 24 hours.
