Dune: Prophecy fans are wondering whether the Bene Gesserit use Thinking Machines in the series and in the Dune films. The series, set approximately 10,000 years before Paul Atreides’ story, revolves around the sisters Valya and Tula Harkonnen and their formation of the religious and political Bene Gesserit sect.

Dune: Prophecy takes place about 10,000 years before the events of Dune, where Paul Atreides would realize the prophecy of the Lisan al-Gaib, a plot put into motion by the Bene Gesserit. However, the Bene Gesserit themselves seemed pretty fearful of Paul realizing that power, which could have seeded itself in the order thanks to Desmond Hart.

Dune: Prophecy Episode 3, titled Sisterhood Above All, will see major plot twists in an increasingly charged storyline for both Desmond Hart, a tool of the Emperor, and Valya Harkonnen. The tension was high in Episode 2, and it will continue to establish events that will affect the trajectory of the series as a whole.
