Police have arrested and charged a man with the murder of his wife, whose body was found in a remote part of Oregon on Friday, seven days after she went missing after going hiking with her two dogs.

Fournier, 61, took a tragic turn after her body was found over the weekend in Welches, Oregon, an unincorporated community at the base of Mount Hood.

Fournier, an Oregon woman who was reported missing on Nov. 22 with her two dogs, has been arrested and booked on a charge of second-degree murder after his wife's body was discovered and identified this week.
