The Lions travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium looking for their first preseason win after falling to the Chargers in the Hall of Fame Game last week.

The Detroit Lions will play four preseason games instead of the usual three. The NFL added the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.

This means fans will get to see first-round picks Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr. make their NFL debut on Friday night. Third-round pick Xavier Watts will also be looking to make an impact as he battles for the team's other starting safety job next to Jessie Bates III.
