Military police and local law enforcement responded to reports of “a potential active shooter” at Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, Thursday, though the threat appeared to be unfounded, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office said.

A Florida sheriff says there are “no signs of an active shooter” and no injuries after police responded to a report of gunshots at the Corry Station, a Navy installation in Pensacola.

The ECSO says they are responding to Corry Station for an armed disturbance, but did not know details of the situation.
