A Vanguard College Preparatory School graduate preparing to study at Baylor University in the fall died Sunday while hiking at Olympic National Park in Washington.

The timing of the annual training is a sobering coincidence, as it comes on the heels of Plainville firefighter Ray Moreau's death.
