Former Cruz Azul coach, Martín Anselmi, has reemerged with a statement that has set the Liga MX abuzz, calling an América player the best in the country.

Anselmi signed a contract through the 2026-27 season with Porto. The 39-year-old replaces Vitor Bruno, who was sacked last week amid a poor run of form for the Portuguese side.
