Ukraine launched a drone attack on a Russian chemical plant in the western city of Tula overnight on Friday into Saturday, according to the country’s security service. Russian authorities have not acknowledged the attack.

Ukraine used drones to strike the Aleksinsky chemical plant in Tula, Russia, late Friday and into early Saturday as part of a larger aerial offensive.

A source in the Security Service of Ukraine said that Russia’s Aleksinsky chemical plant – which produces gunpowder, ammunition and weapons in the Tula region – had been targeted and struck during an overnight drone attack.
