Air Canada is the flag carrier of Canada, and is also the country's largest airline, with a fleet of more than 200 aircraft.

The A220 has largely replaced both the Airbus A319 and another crossover jet, the Embraer E190, in the company’s fleet.

Air Canada chose ATS to perform the installation on its A319 and A320 aircraft due to ATS' past performance in avionics modifications. ATS will begin the TAWS installations this month.
