Horizon Organic Dairy is recalling thousands of cases of its self-stable milk. The Colorado-based dairy is recalling 19,688 cases of its 8-ounce 12-pack of Horizon Organic Aseptic Plain Whole Milk due to the potential for premature product spoilage.

Altogether, 2,023 cases have been recalled, according to the announcement. The recalled products were sold in 242 stores in nine states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas, Walmart said Monday morning.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ( FDA ), 2,023 cases of Great Value, Chicken Broth, sold in 48-ounce containers at Walmart, have been recalled. Each case includes six units of the product, meaning 12,138 cartons of broth were recalled.
