ATLANTA (AP) — LeBron James was in attendance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to watch his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes play Notre Dame for the College Football Playoff championship Monday night. The Buckeyes defeated The Irish 34-24 for its first national championship since 2014.

Few things in life are certain, but LeBron James rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes is something that can never be questioned.

LeBron James was in attendance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium to watch his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes play Notre Dame for the College Football Playoff championship Monday night. ESPN cameras showed James in a suite about 45 minutes before kickoff.

LeBron James is showing support for his Ohio State Buckeyes, who are set to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a CFP Championship matchup scheduled on Monday.

Buckeyes legend, and 1974 and 1975 Heisman Trophy winner, Archie Griffin was also on hand to cheer on his alma mater, while hip-hop star Travis Scott also attended.
