A TV news weather forecaster is out of a job after criticizing Elon Musk's infamous salute at the inauguration and calling him a Nazi. CBS 58 Milwaukee employees were informed Wednesday that Sam Kuffel "is no longer employed" at the station.

As news of meteorologist Sam Kuffel's firing broke, a number of people expressed support and opposition to the move by the local CBS affiliate.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WBAY) - The Milwaukee Public School District is the latest to file a complaint against social media companies.

Sam Kuffel, the weather reporter for CBS 58, was let go by the station a day after she posted two items on her Instagram page condemning Musk.

Public Schools is pursuing a lawsuit against the companies behind Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube.

In April 2023, Ali Abdi, also known as Ayooli, decided to start his own TikTok. He had been making music and skits on Instagram for a while, but after talking with other Milwaukee rappers, he figured it was time to try the app out.

The meteorologist condemned Musk for the pose in two Instagram Story updates that were then publicized by a conservative radio host who labeled them "vulgar."
