The Dallas Mavericks have been mentioned as a possible trade suitor for New Orleans Pelicans wing Javonte Green as they explore ways to improve their roster before the NBA trade deadline on Feb.

Sources indicated to DallasHoopsJournal.com that the Mavericks are surveying wing players on the trade market. Among options drawing interest from Dallas is New Orleans Pelicans forward Javonte Green, but they are far from alone in that regard.

It was a short-handed Southwestern Division matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans, as Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively II, Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, and Herb Jones were among the key players out on both sides.
