Syria Violence Sends Thousands of Civilians Fleeing 'De-Escalation Zone' : Parallels More than 100,000 civilians have had to flee homes and refugee camps because of violence in Idlib province.

For years, civilians fleeing violence in other parts of Syria have come to Idlib. The area had about 1.5 million people when the war started nine years ago, and now has about 3 million, Yamin said.
