The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect involved in a standoff at the Kingston Shore Condos was killed by a sniper after firing multiple shots at neighboring condos.

Florida authorities shot and killed a man Thursday who allegedly fired more than 200 rounds at neighboring units in a condominium complex.

A heavily armed man fired more than 200 rounds at neighbors and sheriff's deputies from his Ormond-by-the-Sea condo, the VCSO said.
