The Florida sheriff that President-elect Donald Trump nominated to be the administrator of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has withdrawn his name from consideration.

Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement that he decided to withdraw after "the gravity of this very important responsibility set in."
