S everal districts in Tamil Nadu have declared a holiday for schools due to heavy rains on Thursday (December 12, 2024). Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Ariyalur, Ramanathapuram, Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupatur, Karur and Thoothukudi districts have declared a holiday for schools today.
