Swedish payments firm Klarna Group Plc has filed for an initial public offering in the US, ending months of speculation that the company was readying a stock market listing.

(Reuters) -Swedish payments group Klarna said on Tuesday it had confidentially filed paperwork with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed IPO have not yet been determined, the company said in a statement.
