Nile Rodgers expects Sir Rod Stewart to “pinch [his] bum” at Glastonbury next year.

Nile Rodgers has revealed he will perform at Glastonbury 2025 immediately following Sir Rod Stewart. The Chic star and mastermind behind some of the most legendary pop albums shared the news with press at the Rolling Stone UK Awards at London’s Camden Roundhouse, where he was honoured with the Global Icon award.

Rod Stewart has said his forthcoming Legends slot performance at Glastonbury 2025 will cost him “a fortune.” The 79-year-old British rocker was announced as the first artist in the music festival’s 2025 lineup on Tuesday (November 25).

Rod Stewart will be asking Glastonbury “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” come June. The 79-year-old singer will play the festival’s Sunday “legend slot,” it was revealed on Tuesday in Glastonbury’s first artist announcement for its 2025 edition. Stewart also posted on his social media in response to the news, writing that he is “absolutely thrilled.”
