Mikaela Shiffrin, the most successful alpine skier of all time, said she is feeling better after crashing out of the women’s giant slalom during last weekend’s Stifel Killington Cup in Vermont.

Chasing milestone 100th win, skier Mikaela Shiffrin suffered a puncture wound in her abdomen and severe muscle trauma in Saturday's crash.

American ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin crashed after catching an edge in her second run of a World Cup giant slalom race Saturday, did a somersault and wound up in the protective fencing. Shiffrin stayed down on the course for quite some time as the ski patrol attended to her.
