Her daughter, Rachel, is a sixth-grader and also on a Destination Imagination team. "Throughout her whole treatment, she did not complain," said Cinda Scadden, who assisted Rise last year.

It was Terry Skudlarek’s children who lead her to Destination ImagiNation and 22 years later, she’s as involved as ever. In fact, her husband, Bill, has her beat by a year.

She said members of the public -- including students who have not participated in Destination ImagiNation but are curious about the program -- are welcome to attend and watch teams' performances.
