On planet Cybertron, Orion Pax (Chris Hemsworth), aka Optimus Prime, and D-16 (Brian Tyree Henry), aka Megatron, begin Transformers One as brothers-in-arms.

Megatron challenges Optimus Prime to a one-on-one duel, which Optimus accepts. Neither side is allowed help, and the loser will take his force and leave the planet in exile.

Optimus Prime and Megatron’s early years have been explored in animated series and comic books, but Transformers One appears to be an original take on their shared origin story.

Due to the timeframe, we also meet Orion Pax and D-16, who will eventually become Optimus Prime and Megatron, though at this time they don’t even have the ability to transform yet.

Set on Cybertron, “Transformers One” is the origin story of how Optimus Prime (voiced by Chris Hemsworth) and Megatron (Brian Tyree Henry) go from the closest friends to sworn enemies.
