Double world champion Kalle Rovanpera led a Toyota charge on the first full day of the Canary Islands Rally on Friday with the Japanese manufacturer filling the top five places.

Elfyn Evans is a four-time runner-up in the World Rally Championship Wales' Elfyn Evans finished third as Toyota dominated the inaugural Rally Islas Canarias, taking the top four places.
