The Beaver Moon, the last supermoon of 2024, will light up the sky from Friday. The big picture: This "extra special" moon "will appear bigger and brighter than usual," per a NASA statement. The year 2024 witnessed 4 supermoons, out of which October's Hunter moon was the most spectacular, appearing larger and brighter than the others.  This rare astronomical event captivated skywatchers worldwide,

November's full moon, known as the Beaver Moon, will peak tomorrow and is the fourth and final time stargazers will be able to see a supermoon in 2024. Like October's full moon, the Beaver Moon won't be at full peak at night, but there will be plenty of moonlight to be seen heading into the weekend.
