"Our key finding is that the Rabi-like splitting due to the nonlinear magnon coupling can occur in a symmetric system, without relying on the breaking of symmetry," said Mizukami.
Consequently, the predicted Rabi splitting in Au-MoSe 2 and Au-WSe 2 heterostructures ranged between 77.86 and 320 meV at ambient temperature.
