The Boston Celtics (42-17) have added Kristaps Porzingis to their injury report ahead of Friday night’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers (48-10) at TD Garden. The team has listed the center as questionable due to a non-COVID illness.

The Celtics are taking on the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night and they have plenty of players who might be out for this game. One of them is center Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis is a player who needs to be healthy in order to make a run at the Cavs for the final game. He is someone who has had a lot problems staying healthy in his career.

Cleveland leads Boston by 6.5 games but has lost two of the three meetings against the Celtics this season. Boston prevailed at home, 120-117, on Nov. 19 and in Cleveland 112-105 on Feb. 4. The Cavs, who have the best record in the NBA, earned a 115-111 home win against the Celtics on Dec. 1.
