Unlike Mega Charizard Y, Mega Charizard X changes types when it Mega Evolves. It changes from a Fire- and Flying-type Pokemon to a Fire- and Dragon-type Pokemon.

The Pokemon X exclusive wants you to come over to the dark side. The Pokemon Origins anime has dropped a new bomb on Pokemon fans, as within the show Charizard evolved into a different Mega Evolution.

For example, Mega Charizard X ditches the original’s Flying-type for a Dragon affinity. It’s also blue, so it has that going for it. Above: Mega Charizard Y from Pokémon X and Y.
