Gasoline has been thrown on the fire. Last night, a glitch with the PlayStation Network caused all PlayStation 4 trophies to disappear and be replaced with PS3 logos.

This isn't the first time that PlayStation glitches have led to these kinds of rumours. Last week, several PlayStation 3 games were said to have been spotted by fans on the PlayStation 5 store.

While PS3 emulation is currently thriving on PC, PlayStation 5 gamers currently have to stream Sony’s last-last-gen console to their fancy machines, even with the powerful specs of the PS5 Pro.
