If you’ve heard of Square, it’s probably as a payment processor and point-of-sale system. But in recent years, the company has rolled out Square business loans, credit cards and now bank accounts.

Processing rates aside, Clover’s hardware is also significantly more expensive than Square’s options. All in all, the potential long-term savings didn’t seem worth it, and I went with my gut.
