The parade and its 130 entries will begin marching at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on Grand Avenue from the Capitol to 15th Street.

More Parking meters in downtown Des Moines will charge drivers Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. So, after 9 p.m. during the week and on Saturdays, meter spots are completely free.
