Early on Thursday, the Ukrainian air force issued a nationwide air raid warning "due to the threat of missile danger". Numerous other regions around the country, including Rivne, Vinnytsia, Kropyvnytskyi, Balta, and Mykolaiv are believed to be targeted.

President Vladimir Putin warned that his forces could strike “decision-making centers” in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv with new ballistic missiles as retaliation for attacks on Russia using Western missiles.
